To meet keen business demand arising from the need for timely and quality management decision making, the Business Analysis Team provides business and functional units with comprehensive financial management information (FMI), business analysis, and costing/planning support throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. We are now seeking an experienced project manager to join our team and manage projects to improve the width and depth of management information in Hong Kong.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage FMI projects, according to the terms of reference for each assigned project
  • Act as a project coordinator between users (covering business, finance and functional units) and IT teams
  • Define clear and precise user requirements together with business, finance and functional unit users as appropriate
  • Apply project management skills to ensure high quality deliverables throughout various stages of the development cycle, taking efficiency, cost effectiveness and system performance into account
  • Develop proper procedures and controls, and conduct or arrange appropriate training for relevant staff members to ensure seamless implementation
  • Work with IT to set up proper live environments before handing over to the BAU team
  • Follow-up any post implementation problems that may arise

Requirements

  • University graduate, ideally with professional accounting qualification and sound knowledge of banking and finance functions
  • At least eight years' experience in project management relating to banking and finance
  • Strong team player with good leadership skills and the ability to work with colleagues of different levels
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Self motivated, creative and able to work in a dynamic, fast changing work environment
  • Committed to delivering results of high quality, even under time and work pressure
