With growing complexity surrounding the Global Banking and Financial Services industry, there is an increasing demand for more timely and value-added Finance and Business Management Information (MI) in the Asia-Pacific region. This is required to strengthen the control environment and to support regional senior management's key decision-making processes. We are now looking for an experienced professional to join us.


Key Responsibilities


Reporting to the Senior Manager Regional Planning and MI Reporting, you will:

  • Lead a newly established Regional Planning and MI reporting team, providing concise and value added MI reports to senior management, and Regional Business and Product Heads
  • Establish a robust regional quarterly rolling forecast process to meet the Group's demanding reporting deadlines
  • Critically examine Business and Support functions' rolling forecasts and annual operating plan submissions, and put forward recommendations where necessary before presenting the final materials to senior management
  • Work closely with Regional Business and Product senior management, IT and other Finance teams to provide quick fixes where necessary and prioritise all Business and Product MI requirements
  • Join up with Customer Groups and Product Groups to establish standardised regional market share statistics together with competitors' market share data for senior management decision making
  • Develop and motivate a team of highly skilled finance professionals

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with at least 12 years' post-qualification experience and solid experience in banking
  • Experience in reporting Banking MI to senior management
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with fluent written and spoken English
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
