MANAGER, TAX - GLOBAL MARKETS

Asia-Pacific Finance


We are seeking an experienced individual with a background in tax to join our regional tax department, which covers the Global Markets businesses that include fixed income/debt and FX products, equities and related derivatives transactions.


Key Responsibilities


Reporting to the Senior Manager Tax - Global Markets, you will:

  • Provide tax advice on new products and transactions for the Global Markets businesses in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Handle tax-related enquiries from businesses as well as other support functions relating to Global Markets businesses
  • Work closely with tax managers in other Asia-Pacific countries, as well as colleagues in the United Kingdom and United States of America, on cross-border products, transactions and issues
  • Provide updates to business units on changes to local tax legislations or practices

Requirements

  • At least eight years of tax experience at a Big 4 firm, with at least three years at manager level
  • Financial industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Putonghua
