HSBC Securities Services (HSS), which is part of Global Transaction Banking in HSBC, provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic services for the global asset management industry including fund administration, global custody, corporate trust and loan agency, sub-custody and clearing.


Fund Services is a business unit of HSBC Securities Services and provides a range of fund administration services including absolute return funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, emerging market funds, private equity funds, mutual funds and pension funds to institutional clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial performance data for the Asia region
  • Collect volume data for activities based costing model and prepare the client profitability reports
  • Provide analytical support on monthly performance and costing, by products and locations
  • Maintain close working relationships with branches offices in the region and the local financial control teams
  • Assist line manager on monthly consolidation reporting, quarterly Rolling Forecast and Rolling Operating Plan (ROP)
  • Complete ad hoc projects and tasks and provide suggestions as requested by management

Requirements

  • University degree holder in accounting or finance with a minimum of four years' experience within the banking industry
  • Possession of professional accounting qualification is an advantage
  • Be numerate and be patient in processing mass volume of data
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Macros and Powerpoint
