Personal Financial Services - Retail Banking


HSBC's Personal Financial Services (PFS) retail banking continues to provide excellent sales and service to our customers. As their first point-of-contact, our branch staff is our most important asset in servicing our customers needs, thereby maintaining our reputation for quality sales and service. We are now seeking people who thrive on interacting with customers and are able to service and exceed customers' banking needs and expectations to join us and manage the sales and service environment in our branches.

In this role, you will ensure the highest standard of implementation for PFS business strategies by achieving sales and service goals, with a particular focus on incidental fulfillment sales and referrals to other sales staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Banking Manager and Branch Manager in developing and implementing the branch sales and service plan
  • Actively identify potential customers for selling integrated financial services packages, as well as other general banking products such as mortgages, credit cards, consumer assets, non-life insurance and simple investment products
  • Make referrals on financial planning reviews, investment and insurance products to responsible sales staff
  • Deliver a high standard of professional service to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • University graduate with 1 to 2 years' sales and service experience with good knowledge in personal financial services products, or non-degree holder with three years' experience in the banking industry
  • Energetic, self-motivated, able to meet challenges and willing to deal with people
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills with good PC skills and analytical ability
  • Possession of insurance and investment licences would be a definite advantage
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English and ideally Putonghua
