The ASP Group Human Resources System (GHRS) Regional Support Team provides support for PeopleSoft HRMS & Global Payroll in addition to a number of HR software applications. It serves as a contact point for problem resolution, recommendation regarding methods and Group standards/procedures, and advance systems expertise for the regional HR community. The level of support covers over 23 countries employing approximately 100,000 employees in the region.


Key Responsibilities


  • Direct the HR Technology Support function to ensure efficient, effective and timely services are provided to the satisfaction of management and staff across all entities in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Manage the operations of Asia-Pacific GHRS Regional Support Team and serve as a technical adviser to provide top quality GHRS and Global Payroll support to users across all entities based in Asia
  • Support all GHRS implementation and HR transformation activities across ASP including pre-production set up, system testing, managing system upgrades, etc within the agreed timeframe and budget
  • Ensure the entire HR system activities (including GHRS and other local systems) are maintained, enhanced and established in such way that quality HR service are delivered while complying with Group standard and project objectives
  • Control department IT budgets and expenses and strive for operational efficiency for HRA and Systems Team by reviewing and streamlining workflow in line with GHRS initiatives and assessing areas to be automated
  • Oversee the revamp and continual maintenance of HRA internet career page and intranet HR sitelet page
  • Supervise the support of various HR systems such as eClaim, HR Digital Imaging System and eTPM

Requirements

  • University graduate with at least 10 years' experience focusing on HR systems support
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment, planning and interpersonal skills
  • A strong command of written and spoken English
  • A thorough understanding on applications such as PeopleSoft GHRS, Global Payroll, Teamsite and various local HR systems
  • Proficient in softwares such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access and web-editing would be a definite advantage
  • Willing to travel within and outside the region
