HSBC Group is calling for more informed decisions regarding its people, and is also seeking to increase employee engagement on an upward trend each year. As a result, a small unit has been set up within our Human Resources Department to focus people investment decisions on behalf of the Group, and we are now inviting an experienced, high-calibre HR professional to join us.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance standard Human Capital Management metrics and provide top management with consistent information to facilitate business decisions
  • Guide the development of expertise in gathering and interpreting metrics within regional countries
  • Improve benchmarking of regional HR performance
  • Improve our predictive modeling and provide analytical insight to regional businesses and functions
  • Enhance our regional HR operating plan, guide the HR financial planning process and obtain buy-in from Group and Asia-Pacific HR heads
  • Enhance HR analytics and data-warehousing capabilities that allow regional and local data mining
  • Strengthen employee attitudinal segmentation
  • Strengthen operational risk control measures

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree with 12 to 15 years' relevant experience
  • Solid analytical and planning skills with the ability to explain data-driven insights, concepts and statistical models clearly to a diverse audience
  • Strong project management, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Innovative and able to think beyond normally established boundaries to solve problems
