HSBC Living Finance

HSBC Living Finance is a financial education programme designed to help teenagers in Hong Kong acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to plan their future.

Launched in October 2006, the initiative comprises three elements — financial literacy workshops for secondary students, a Living Finance competition and a Living Finance website.

Between October 2006 and May 2007 eight financial literacy workshops for secondary students are being held in HSBC branches across Hong Kong. The Saturday workshops are free and run by volunteer tutors from HSBC.

At each workshop, students are introduced to the basic principles of money management and financial planning, together with knowledge about various investments. Participating schools will be sourced from the Education and Manpower Bureau's School-Business Partnership Programme.

Visit our dedicated Living Finance website for more information about the programme and learning tools about finance.
