End of life care

Designed for healthcare workers who look after people facing death or loss of a loved one, the End of Life Care Training Programme was set up with funding from the Hongkong Bank Foundation in 2001 and is run by the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care.

Comfort, peace and dignity

Based on the Society's vision of 'adding life to days when days cannot be added to life', the aim of the programme is to bring comfort, peace and dignity to people in the last stage of life, and to provide support to their families. Participants include doctors, nurses, caregivers and other professionals working in hospitals and the community.

The course helps healthcare workers provide the best service possible.
