Wayfoong Green Ambassadors

The Wayfoong Green Ambassadors Group was established in May 2004. The group of over 200 employee volunteers support the Bank's environmental initiatives and promote activities co-ordinated by local environmental organisations.

The Green Ambassadors take part in activities such as local ecological field trips, seminars and voluntary work, through which they learn more about environmental issues while helping to protect the environment.

Activity highlights

  • Educate the public about plant conservation at the annual Hong Kong Flower Show.
  • Organise outings and site visits.
  • Share environmental information on the HSBC intranet to raise staff's knowledge of environmental issues.
