We conduct employee attitude surveys annually to give feedback on topics such as pay and benefits, career development and workload, as well as to measure employees' job satisfaction and their willingness to recommend HSBC to friends and colleagues.

To enable and enhance communications between HSBC's senior management and employees, the Bank established an online channel for employees to ask questions, raise issues and communicate their ideas. Responses come directly from senior managers.
An average of 400 employees visit this site every day. Since it was launched in November 2001, 2,000+ questions have been posted, prompting more than 100 policy changes by the Bank.
