Your Choice of One Card,
Two Currencies
- One credit card consists of both Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) and Renminbi (RMB) credit card accounts. Card spending in HK and overseas will be settled in HKD card account while spending in mainland China will be settled in RMB card account.
Your Choice of Assigning Limit
- You can assign the overall limit to HKD and RMB card accounts according to your preferred allocation (min 20% of the overall limit in one account) at card application. Simply call 2233 3000 to change the allocation any time afterwards.
Simple and Convenient Repayment
- Enjoy up to 56-day interest-free repayment period for HSBC Credit Card
- Dual Currency Credit Cardholders need to settle payment for HKD and RMB card accounts separately. Overpayment or credit balance to one card account will not be credited to the other card account.
- If the payment is made in HKD for the RMB card account, the amount will be converted into RMB at the prevailing rate of exchange determined by the Bank on the date of payment processing. Due to fluctuation of exchange rate, cardholders are advised to prepare sufficient fund for payment to avoid payment shortfall which will result in finance and/or other charges.

China Medical and Travel Assist Service ("Assist Service")#
- Cash Deposit Wavier for Hospital Admission in China - The Assist Service can arrange cash deposit wavier for admission to selected hospitals in mainland China (subject to terms and conditions).
- Emergency Medical Assistance - The Assist Service can provide medical advice over the phone, make referrals of clinics or hospitals, and arrange hospital admission upon request. If situation requires, the Assist Service can arrange your family to visit or evacuate you to a centre of medical excellence.
- Emergency Travel Assistance - If you lose your luggage, passport or credit cards while travelling in China, the Assist Service can refer you to the appropriate authorities involved. In emergency cases, the Assist Service can also assist you in making flight or hotel reservation, interpreting or transmitting messages, or arrange emergency cash advance.

The Assist Service is free of charge to HSBC UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Cardholder in the first year of card opened. Cardholder can continue to enjoy this Service free of charge in the subsequent years, with the condition that the cardholders have at least made 2 spending transactions in the Mainland of China for that year; otherwise, the bank reserves the right to charge an annual service fee of HK$450. |

By using the Assist Service, you consent to such transmission and/or use of your personal data. |
Worldwide ATM Cash Withdrawal (including UnionPay's ATMs and HSBC ATMs)
- Cardholder can withdraw cash globally via over 1 million ATMs displaying the UnionPay's logo and ATMs of HSBC Group
- Cash withdrawal in mainland China : cash withdrawal transaction will be processed as cash advance and posted into the RMB card account
- Overseas cash withdrawal outside mainland China : request will be handled by first checking the balance of the linked HKD bank account. If the account has sufficient fund, the cash transaction will be processed as cash withdrawal from the linked HKD bank account. In the case of insufficient fund, the cash transaction will be processed as cash advance and posted to the HKD card account
- Cash withdrawal in HK : cardholder can select the linked HKD bank account with HSBC to withdraw cash or select HKD card account of the Dual Currency Credit Card for cash advance
