Hospitalisation cover

 
  • 4 levels of daily hospital cash benefit ranging from HK$300 to HK$2,000 for sickness or injury, which pays up to 750 days on top of other medical plans. You are free to decide how you use the cash, e.g. pay hospital bills, income substitution, living expenses, medical expenses, etc.

    Premium refund

    Up to 100% refund of total premium paid after 10 years. Whether or not you made any claims, premium will be refunded upon policy maturity/termination as below:

    Premium waiver

    Premium payment will be waived if the Insured suffers total permanent disability. If the insured person is a child, the premium waiver is applicable to the policyholder.


    Death benefit

    100% of total premium paid will be refunded for death of the Insured due to accident or illness.

    (1)  Benefit for hospitalisation in mainland China is 50% of the specified limit.
    (2)  Up to 90 days in an intensive care unit.
    (3)  Covered infectious diseases include malaria, cholera, meningococcal infection, dengue fever, tetanus and SARS.
    (4)  If the insured person is a child, the premium waiver is applicable to the policyholder. Otherwise, if the insured person suffers total permanent disability during the policy term, premium payment will be waived.

    Who can apply?

    Anyone aged 18 or above is eligible to apply. You can choose to insure yourself, your spouse or your children. Insured persons must be between the age of 6 months and 59 inclusive. Insured children must be aged 6 months to 17 years old inclusive or full-time students below the age of 23.


    Major Exclusions

     
    • Pre-existing medical conditions and congenital abnormalities
     
    • Dental and optical treatment
     
    • Pregnancy and fertility or infertility treatment
     
    • Cosmetic surgery, prosthetic appliances and routine medical examinations
     
    • Drug addiction, alcoholism, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV if diagnosed within five years from inception of cover
     
    • War and insurrection, dangerous sports and activities
     
    • Hospitalisation primarily for diagnostic scanning, X-ray examinations or physical therapy
