The Bank has been awarded top performer in the categories 'Credit Card Services' and 'Internet Banking' at NEXT Magazine's 'Top Service Awards 2008'.
HSBC credit card and internet banking services has won the Sing Tao Excellence Services Brand 2007 Award. Since the start of this Award in 2006, local consumers have voted HSBC credit card and internet banking services as the Excellence Services Brand for 2 consecutive years.
HSBC received the Platinum Award in the Bank and Card Issuing Bank categories in the Hong Kong market, and the Gold Award in the Card Issuing Bank category in the Asia market in the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands 2008.
HSBC has beaten out 150 banks in the region to win 4 prestigious awards from The Asian Banker Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2008 programme, including:
HSBC received a total of 19 awards from Visa, MasterCard and China Unionpay in 2008. Among the accolades, HSBC was named as 'Bank of the Year' by Visa and MasterCard respectively.
HSBC recently received the top 2007 China Charity Award (foreign company category) from the Ministry of Civil Affairs. HSBC is the only foreign corporation to have won the award for three consecutive years since its establishment in 2005.
Maritime Square branch is one of the top performers of Total Quality Service Regime 2007 organized by the MTRC Shopping Centres. Among all participating banks, Maritime Square branch came top in total performance score. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Bank has received this award.
Mai Yuen Wah, Gina received the Individual Gold Award of 'Field and Special Service' category organized by the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence.
HSBC is awarded with six prizes at the 2007 Global Finance World's Best Internet Bank awards ceremony. The categories that HSBC won included Best Overall Consumer Internet Bank for Asia-Pacific and Europe.
HSBC is the first company to win in three categories in the Best Practice Awards for Simplicity, Technology Deployment, and Learning & People Development. The Awards are organized by the Best Practice Management.
Five colleagues were honoured with the Customer Relationship Excellence Award 2006 organized by the Asia Pacific Customer Service Consortium at the award presentation dinner at Langham Place Hotel on 6 July 2007. This is the first individual service honour that our retail banking colleagues gained in an Asia Pacific regional award. Two of our awardees were named top winners - Customer Service Manager of the Year and Customer Service Team Leader of the Year.
