To celebrate the Year of the Rat with customers, the Bank has arranged God of Wealth together with a magician to visit 94 branches from 11 to 13 February 2008. The event was marked by an unique fusion of ancient customs and modern entertainment. Customers were thrilled to receive chocolates from God of Wealth while the magician performed firecracker tricks.
Susanna Cheung, Head of Retail Banking Personal Financial Services, joined God of Wealth and the magician in giving blessings to customers in the Year of the Rat.
Santa Claus and the trio band visited 94 branches on the annual Thanks Day themed "Thank you for your voice. Together we rejoice!" during 19-21 December 2007 to thank customers for their patronage and voicing their opinions to help us serve them better. Customers were thrilled while listening to live music entertainment and receiving delicious chocolates and HSBC candy Christmas gift packs.

To celebrate Christmas, branches were decorated with Christmas tree and angels. We also presented a festive gift of silver ball or rotating angels set to our HSBC Premier customers during their visits in the Christmas period.

As a small treat for customers, HSBC Candy in two flavours (pineapple and peach) is served at the branches.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Lantern Festival, is a popular Asian celebration of abundance and togetherness. Sheung Ngo and her Jade Rabbit spread the festive spirit at 94 branches during the run-up to the Festival. Adding to the festive atmosphere were lantern riddles for customers to win prizes of mooncakes, persimmons and star fruits.

In celebration of Father's Day, LED pedometer with torch and hand-held fan with the message "Happy Father's Day" were given to customers at the branches on 15 June 2007.

To celebrate Mother's Day, branch customers were presented with colourful carnations.

Happy Mother's Day!
Colourful eggs and lovely rabbits adorned branches in preparation for Easter. Bunny and Piglet with their giant egg greeted customers and spread the Easter spirit at 93 branches during the run-up to Easter on 2 - 4 April. Susanna Cheung, Head of Retail Banking Persoanl Financial Services, also joined the fun with customers at 238 Nathan Road branch. Customers got excited in the eggs hunting game for prizes of Little Chick Candles, Kinder Chocolate Eggs and Expression Eggs. A festive gift of Egg Shape Lamp and Easter Egg Gift Set were also presented to Premier customers.

For building closer relationships, HSBC Personal Financial Services Asia Pacific has worked together with the in-house kitchen to host a series of lunches featuring unique dishes with fruits as ingredients in the theme of "Fruit Extravaganza".
For adding to the atmosphere, the full seaview banquet room at HSBC Main Building is also dressed up in a matching decor.
