General terms and conditions:
1.	The promotional period is from 1 October to 31 December 2009, both dates inclusive ("Promotional Period") (based on transaction dates).
2.	This promotion applies to customers holding any Hong Kong Dollar personal primary, combined additional and separate additional credit cards (including co-branded cards) and Business Cards issued by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited ("HSBC") in Hong Kong (âCardholderâ). Usage of corporate, purchasing, US dollar, Renminbi and private label cards does not qualify for the promotions.
3.	The offers are applicable to JCB gold cardholders only at outlets accepting the JCB gold card for payment.
4.	HSBC credit card must be used to settle the payment to enjoy the offers.
5.	The offers are valid for banquets, weddings, meetings/conferences, VIP rooms and private rooms (unless specified).
6.	All prices are subject to a 10% service charge plus a charge for tea and condiments (based on original price)(unless specified).
7.	The offers cannot be exchanged for cash, other products or discounts. The offers are not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts, promotional offers, year round offers, discount items/programmes, coupons, cash coupons, VIP cards, VIP bonus point programmes and membership benefits (unless specified).
8.	Offers are subject to availability or change without prior notice. HSBC accepts no liability on the change of offers and will not notify cardholders separately.
9.	The offers are subject to the terms and conditions of respective merchants and HSBC (please check with respective merchants for details).
10.	HSBC accepts no liability for the quality of goods and services provided by respective merchants.
11.	In case of dispute, the decision of respective merchants and HSBC shall be final.
12.	If this English version of offers, terms and conditions does not conform to the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

Asia Miles offers terms and conditions:
13.	A net spending of every HKD10,000 recorded in one sales slip transacted using an eligible credit card as referred to above in paragraphs 2 and 3 (where applicable) ("Eligible Credit Card") at designated merchants during the Promotional Period are eligible to earn 1,000 Asia Miles.
14.	"Net Spending" means the final amount charged to the Eligible Credit Card. The use of "Reward Dollars", shopping vouchers and other discounts will not be taken into account when calculating "Net Spending".
15.	Only posted transactions (with physical sales slips) effected during the Promotional Period at designated merchants are eligible for this promotion. Other transactions, including without limitation, online order, telephone order, fax order or instalment plans and transactions made at any outlets outside Hong Kong, for example, in mainland China and Macau are not eligible.
16.	Cardholders must successfully register with their Asia Miles membership information via www.hsbc.com.hk/creditcard on or before 7 January 2010 to be eligible for this Asia Miles offer. A valid Asia Miles membership is mandatory when the time during the Promotional Period and at miles crediting.
17.	Each Cardholder is entitled to earn a maximum of 50,000 Asia Miles during the Promotional Period. Miles are not transaferable.
18.	HSBC will determine the eligibility of Cardholders and the amount of Asia Miles earned based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with HSBC. Completion of registration is not a confirmation of the eligibility of the credit card used, transactions or the amount of Asia Miles earned. Asia Miles will be credited to Cardholders' Asia Miles account on or before 31 March 2010.
19.	Where Asia Miles have been credited to a Cardholders's Asia Miles account and there is a subsequent reversal of any transaction(s) used to determine the amount of Asia Miles earned, HSBC reserves the right to charge the relevant amount directly to the credit card account without prior notice to the Cardholder.
20.	Only Cardholders whose credit card accounts are valid and in good standing during the entire Promotional Period and at the time of crediting the Asia Miles will be eligible for the offers.
