The current Rewards programme (including the Reward $ programme and Cash Rewards Scheme) will be terminated on 24 April 2010. In relation to the launch of RewardCash, the following will take effect on 25 April 2010 ("Effective Date") (unless otherwise specified):

All the Reward points outstanding in your credit card account(s) as of 24 April 2010 will automatically be converted into RewardCash at the rate of $1 RewardCash for every 250 Reward points. Validity and expiry date applicable to the Reward points on the respective cards will continue to apply on the RewardCash upon conversion.
2.
Any outstanding Reward points in the credit card account(s) of cardholders enrolled in the Cash Rewards Scheme as of 24 April 2010 will be converted into cash credit based on the applicable conversion ratio. From the Effective Date onwards, cardholders will be eligible for RewardCash at the rate of $1 RewardCash for every HK$250 of spending.
3.
Cardholders who are entitled to Reward points on promotional offers will receive RewardCash instead of Reward points.
4.
Withdrawals under the Cash Credit Plan and Cash Credit Instalment Plan will not be awarded RewardCash.

Please note that the above amendments shall be binding on you if you continue to use or retain your card after the Effective Date. Please note your right of termination under clause 33 of the Credit Card Cardholder Agreement / clause 62 of the green credit card Cardholder Agreement / clause 33 of the Renminbi Credit Card Cardholder Agreement / clause 35 of HSBC Advance Visa Platinum Card Cardholder Agreement / clause 32 of the Credit Card Cardholder Agreement for US$ Visa Gold Card / clause 35 of the HSBC Premier Credit Card Cardholder Agreement / clause 31 of the Private Label Card Cardholder Agreement if you decline to accept the amendments.

A minimum of $10 RewardCash is required to purchase each item in RewardCash e-Shop.

The number of RewardCash Certificate to be issued will be calculated on the last working day of March, June, September and December. RewardCash Certificate(s) will be mailed to Cardholders in the following month, i.e. in April, July, October and January respectively.
4.
A minimum of $40 RewardCash is required for each transfer.
