Be careful of bogus phone calls

We notice that recently there are fraudulent telephone calls, voice messages, emails, or communications in other formats that claim to be from HSBC. We would like to alert customers:

  • HSBC does not engage intermediaries to solicit personal loan/tax loan/credit card applications.
  • NOT to provide any sensitive personal information to the suspicious third party, and
  • To verify the caller's identity with the bank by marking down the third party's contact information.

If you have disclosed your personal details, please contact us on (852) 2233 3000 and report to the Police immediately. You can also call us to verify the caller's identity if in doubt.
