About Push Notification

1. What types of notifications can I receive?

You can get notifications when:

  • your banking e-statement is ready
  • you’ve paid your credit card
  • your credit card bill is due
  • you receive a payment via FPS
  • a credit card transaction is rejected

More notifications will be introduced over time to help you keep track of your accounts.

Please note, turning on push notifications means you’ll stop receiving SMS in some cases, such as when your credit card payment is due.

2. Will notifications ever fail to deliver?

There might occasionally be delays or delivery failures for notifications. This could be due to network connectivity issues or the data and battery optimization settings on your device.

If you’re on an Android™ device, please note that Google services are limited in some countries and territories. That means your device may not be able to receive push notifications while in those areas.

But not to worry, you can usually still find your notifications in Notification history. And we’ll send you a copy over email, too.

3. How do I turn off notifications?

You can turn off notifications at any time in Notification preferences.

If you turn push notifications off, you'll receive updates via SMS in some cases, such as when your credit card payment is due.

To turn notifications off:

  • Tap your profile in the top right-hand corner of the screen
  • Open Communication preferences
  • Open Notification preferences
  • Set 'Send me notifications' to off

If you change your mind, you can turn your notifications on and off here whenever you like.
