How to apply through eIPO

When you apply for IPOs through our eIPO Centre, you can:

  • access comprehensive analyses and insights to help you make an informed decision.
  • apply for IPOs and pay online at any time, saving you time and effort.
  • apply for IPO loans online to increase your investment capabilities.
  • get shares, bonds and certificates of deposits (CDs) credited directly to your HSBC investment account when you apply for an IPO successfully via our HSBC IPO Nominees Services; and respond swiftly to market conditions upon receipt of your investments.

 

Apply for an IPO in just 3 steps:

Step 1

  • Go to our IPO listing page.
  • Choose the IPO you want to subscribe to, and select 'Apply'.
  • Read the details of the IPO and its related information (such as the terms and conditions, HSBC IPO Nominees Services disclaimer) carefully to understand the potential risks fully.
  • Evaluate the issuer thoroughly by reading the offering document or prospectus.
  • Log on to HSBC Online Banking and apply if you choose to use HSBC IPO Nominees Services.

Step 2

  • Complete the application form by selecting the range and quantity of shares you want to subscribe to—please note that you cannot change or cancel the subscription once you've submitted your application.
  • If you choose to subscribe to IPO shares via HSBC IPO Nominees Services, you can also apply for an IPO loan on selected IPOs.

Step 3

  • Read your application details carefully and check that they are accurate.
  • Ensure that you have sufficient funds available in your selected settlement account, then press 'Confirm' to submit your application.
  • Save the IPO application reference number that will be provided to you upon submitting your application.
  • And you're all set!
