Medical, Travel Assist and Concierge Service ("Assist Service") 2
  • Emergency Medical Assistance - The Assist Service can provide medical advice over the phone, make referrals of clinics or hospitals, and arrange hospital admission upon request. If the situation requires, the Assist Service can arrange your family to visit or evacuate you to a centre of medical excellence. (The service is worldwide for HSBC Dual Currency Diamond Credit Cardholders or within China for HSBC Dual Currency Credit Cardholders.)
  • Emergency Travel Assistance - If you lose your luggage, passport or credit cards while travelling, the Assist Service can refer you to the appropriate authorities involved. In emergency cases, the Assist Service can also assist you in making flight or hotel reservation, interpreting or transmitting messages to your families. (The service is worldwide for HSBC Dual Currency Diamond Credit Cardholders or within China for HSBC Dual Currency Credit Cardholders.)

You’ll need to settle your Hong Kong dollar and renminbi account balances separately for this card. If you overpay on one account, it will not be credited to the other account.

If you pay Hong Kong dollars into your renminbi account, we’ll convert the amount to renminbi at the prevailing rate of exchange determined by the Bank on the date of payment processing. Because of exchange rate fluctuations, we advise you to have enough funds available to prevent repayment shortfall, as this could lead to finance and/or other charges.

Reservation for Airport Limousine service must be made 5 working days in advance, and the reservation date can be up to the next 60 days. E.g. If HKD2000
spending is accumulated from 1 Apr to 30 Apr 2016, reservation made on 30 Apr can be for dates from 8 May to 30 Jun 2016.
Accumulated spending must be proven by yellow slips or credit card statement at the time of reservation.
2 The above Medical, Travel Assist and Concierge Service (the "Assist Service") is free of charge to HSBC UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Cardholder in the first year
of card opened. Cardholder can continue to enjoy this Service free of charge in the subsequent years, with the condition of making 2 spending transactions for that
calendar year; otherwise, the bank reserves the right to charge an annual service fee of HK$450.
The Assist Service is provided by International SOS (HK) Limited ('International SOS') and does not constitute an insurance policy or agreement. The Service is purely
rendered on referral and/or arrangement basis only and is at the cost of cardholders using the Service.
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited ('HSBC') and International SOS shall not be responsible for any third party expenses which shall be borne
by the cardholder nor be responsible for any advice or services rendered by any third party service providers.
To use the Assist Service, cardholder will be requested by International SOS to provide your HSBC UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card card number and/or any
other personal information which will be used by and/or transmitted to third party service providers by International SOS in order to provide the Assist Service to you
and may be passed onto HSBC for verification, service review and/or quality assurance purposes of HSBC. By using the Assist Service, you consent to such
transmission and/or use of your personal data.
3 Cardholder can withdraw cash globally via over 1 million ATMs displaying the UnionPay's logo and ATMs of HSBC Group.
Cash withdrawal in mainland China – cash withdrawal transaction will be processed as cash advance and posted into the renminbi card account
Overseas cash withdrawal outside mainland China – request will be handled by first checking the balance of the linked Hong Kong dollar bank account. If the account
has sufficient fund, the cash transaction will be processed as cash withdrawal from the linked Hong Kong dollar bank account. In the case of insufficient fund, the cash
transaction will be processed as cash advance and posted to the Hong Kong dollar card account
Cash withdrawal in HK – cardholder can select the linked HKD bank account with HSBC to withdraw cash or select Hong Kong dollar card account of the Dual
Currency Credit Card for cash advance
A handling fee will be charged for each cash advance. See Fees & Charges for more information
