Constituent funds with underlying investments focused on index-tracking collective investment schemes (ITCIS)

Currently, HSBC Mandatory Provident Fund - SuperTrust Plus offers the Hang Seng Index Tracking Fund and Hang Seng China Enterprises Index Tracking Fund, as well as other funds where the investment preference is expected to be given to ITCIS.

1 This type of fund's investment objective is to match the performance of a relevant index as closely as practicable by investing directly in an approved ITCIS with a similar investment objective or investing indirectly in an approved ITCIS with a similar investment objective through an approved pooled investment fund.

This type of fund achieves its investment objective through investment in an approved pooled investment fund, which in turn invests in two or more underlying approved ITCIS(s) and/or pooled investment fund(s) as allowed under the General Regulation*. It is expected that preference will be given to ITCIS(s) when making investments.

* 'General Regulation' means the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (General) Regulation and any subsequent amendments.
